Aissatou Chipkaou:
I have never heard about
Tajweed before this class. I start learning Quran
in January 2007. This class has been a wonderful
experience and gave me the whole picture of the
meaning of the Holy book. I Intend to continue my
studies smoothly. However, I found the tests
challenging because of my level in Quran
reading-writing Arabic. With 10 days class, I was
able to write Arabic words, which is really
fantastic. I made a good progress. Thanks to the
dedication, energy, expertise, and knowledge of
brother Wisam. I pray that one day I shall be
reciting the Quran like he does, and be able to
compete with my brothers in Niger Republic during my
annual leave Inchallah!"
Sheik
Housein: I
sincerely trust that by ALLAH'S grace and mercy and
the success of modern medicine that He has endowed
upon us,that you have fully recovered from your
brief illness. I must convey that it is a
thrill, a challenge and a very humbling experience
to attend this , my very first and formal tajweed
class. We grew up in Guyana, South America and
were thought by our parents and grandparents ( May
ALLALH be pleased with them) with the Basic Reader
and memorization. I have mistakenly relied
heavily on the transliteration of the Mushaf. to
carry me. Last night reading in the group with no
transliteration, was an experience. I
know Bro. Hassan and the others were a little taken
back- but Alhamdulillah they were very helpful
.I cannot forget this moment in life. I will take
away more than you can ever imagine from this class
and the experience of being among a varied sector of
people; all ages and color to learn the book of
ALLAH. A passing grade is the very minimal thrill
for me All praises and thanks for ALLAH (SWT) for
sending you with this tajweed class to us and I pray
for His continued blessing and guidance and success
to you , your family and Bayinnah.
