BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Students will study and drill all critical areas of Tajweed. The Course will predominantly involve oral drills though written exams on definitions and rule application are part of the course. Students completing the course will develop an accurate assessment of their own weaknesses in Tajweed and be in a better position to correct them overtime.

Anyone who can read the Qur'an in Arabic despite the lack of ability to pronounce Arabic letters and sounds accurately.

Summer Intensive: Vocabulary & Essential Communication |
| This course is designed to introduce students to the Arabic language with emphasis on terms, phrases, and commonly used expressions in Islamic discourse, as in the introduction of Khutbat al-Jumu'a and the meaning of Surat al-Fatiha. The text Al-Arabiyya Bayna Yadayk will serve as the back-bone of the course, offering a great deal of listening and reading exercises designed to build up vocabulary. The basic grammar of Arabic will also be covered. Pre-requisite: Knowledge of the Arabic letters, their pronunciation and modes of connection. The course is limited to 80 students per location.
Seats will only be reserved for those who have both registered and paid ahead of time

This seminar is an ambitious and exciting new venture by Bayyinah the goal of which is to introduce non-Arabic speaking or studying audiences to the subject of Qur’anic literary beauty. Join us in this single weekend seminar as it travels all over the country in the year 2009 and as we explore numerous examples of the linguistic & literary marvel of the final divine message in easy to understand English. This seminar will be taught by Nouman Ali Khan, insha Allah.

This program is open to general audiences. No Arabic or Islamic studies background is required. Though attended mostly by adults, the program is open to children above the age of 10.

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This single weekend seminar takes an intricate look at the meaning and beauty of the words uttered in each component of the 5 daily prayers. The program is open to all, with or without background in Arabic. The intent of the program, beyond vocabulary acquisition, is to facilitate concentration and humility for the average Muslim while engaged in prayer.
