Nouman is the founder and CEO of Bayyinah, as well as the lead instructor for the Qur'anic Arabic track.  His first exposure to Arabic study was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he completed his elementary education. He continued Arabic grammar study in Pakistan, where he received a scholarship for ranking among the top 10 scores in the national Arabic studies board examinations in 1993. But his 'serious' training in Arabic began in the United States in 1999 under Dr. Abdus-Samie, founder and formal principal of Quran College in Faisalabad, Pakistan who happened to be touring the US for intensive lectures in Tafsir and Arabic studies.   Under Dr. Abdus-Samie, Nouman developed a keen methodical understanding of Arabic grammar. He further benefited from Dr. Abdus-Samie by internalizing his unique teaching methods and later translating his work into English for the benefit of his own students. Nouman served as professor of Arabic at Nassau Community College until '06 and has taught Modern Standard and Classical Arabic at various venues for nearly 7 years with over 3500 students nationwide. He is in the middle of several translation projects and articles that are to be published through Bayyinah by the winter of '08, insha Allah.

Wisam is the lead instructor at Bayyinah for the Essentials of Tajweed; a sub-division of the Qur'anic Arabic track of study. Additionally, Wisam is also in the midst of preparing Bayyinah's online Arabic Reading for Beginners course.   He is by far one of the most creative and energetic instructors of the subject around.  Students rave about the energy and enthusiasm in his courses and he has quickly become one of the most popular instructors at Bayyinah.  He completed memorization of the Noble Quran by the age of 16 at the Islamic Institute of Education in Chicago, Illinois and went on to study the science of Tajweed formally at Al-Fajr Institute in Cairo, Egypt. Upon his return to the United States, he taught the science of Tajweed, Islamic history and Hifz for 2 years. Thereafter his quest for Islamic knowledge lead him to Quran Academy in Lahore, Pakistan where he earned a Bachelors in Arabic & Islamic literature. Returning once again to the States, he dedicated himself to teaching a very successful and popular Tajweed & Hifz program in Long Island, New York. He developed a unique curriculum for letter recognition, writing and fluid reading, that upon execution, displayed remarkable results among young & old alike. His second area of concern became Tajweed instruction where again his innovative curriculum helped hundreds of students in the New York area acquire an in-depth knowledge of the science in a relatively short amount of time

Abdel Ghani teaches spoken and advanced Arabic at Bayyinah.  His journey to higher Arabic studies began with a BA in Arabic language and literature from the University of Hassan The Second in Ain-Chock, Morocco. At the University of Muhammad The Fifth in Rabat, he earned a specialized certificate in Arabic language and literature with a concentration on classical Arabic poetry between the Jahiliah and Abbasi periods. Returning to the University of Hassan The Second, he completed his master's degree in Classical Arabic literature in 1996. He served as head supervisor at the Cadi-Ayad institute for a number of years taking charge of curriculum planning, teacher training as well as direct instruction. In the United States, he single handedly designed a unique curriculum of Arabic study for Elementary Islamic schools. He chose the MC Elementary School in Flushing New York as a testing ground for his unique method by virtue of which phenomenal and unprecedented results were achieved. Elementary students coming predominantly from non-Arab backgrounds gained amazing fluency in speech, writing and text comprehension within the short span of a single academic year across grade levels. He has since designed innovative curricula to meet the needs of adult Arabic students that have a satisfactory understanding of basic grammar but lack vocabulary and fluency.
