Bayyinah seeks to lead the way in offering the highest quality of Arabic education to communities across the United States while keeping the cost of education minimal and the schedules of classes feasible for people with varying full-time commitments.  We are a grass roots level educational organization which believes that understanding Islam necessitates direct access to its primary & secondary sources without the filter of translation.  In particular, we hold that the Qur'an's literary & aesthetic beauty cannot be appreciated in a genuine sense in any rendition other than the original Arabic in which it was meant to be appreciated.  We also believe that Arabic is an accessible and systematic language, a sound understanding of which can be acquired without having to travel to Arabic speaking regions of the world.  Based on these beliefs, we have designed a variety of intensive weekend, evening and online educational programs.  Our on-site programs travel across the country, serving at least one new community virtually every month with the exception of Ramadhan. 

  

Our multi faceted vision is to provide educational solutions for early and adult learning that span across the board from beginner to advanced levels.  In the short term, we seek to

a. Establish sound relationships with masajid, Islamic schools & other Islamic educational organizations and colleges for the creation of jointly sponsored Arabic educational programs and projects.

b.  Create a culture of Arabic learning in communities nation-wide by means of our powerful introductory intensive programs.

c.  Establish a systematic & comprehensive on-line follow up study program that students nation-wide can take advantage of after their introductory exposure to the subject matter through our traveling intensives. In the long term, we seek to

a.  Publish elementary, high school & university level curricula & text books in the area of Classical Arabic.

b.  Establish a teacher training and certification program in the area of Classical Arabic.

c.  Create an online university offering accredited associates & undergraduate level programs in Classical, Modern and Colloquial Arabic.

d.  Establish long-term relationships with masajid around the country whereby intensive programs are offered on-site on a cyclical basise.  Establish separate summer immersion programs for men, women, youth and families.
